Okay, the CD's came in, and here's the weird thing: the phrase "Sesame Street Records" doesn't appear anywhere on the discs or covers. There are no booklets, either. Each CD has a 1-sheet insert that is the back of the front cover, which has a tracklisting similar to the back covers, but the insert has the song title and songwriter information, while the back cover has the titles and who sings them. Anyway, the actual fine print on the bottom of the back cover reads, "This compilation (P) and © 2018 Sesame Workshop under exclusive license to Arts Music Inc. for the home consumer market. Arts Music Inc., a Warner Music Group Company, 1633 Broadway, New York, NY 10019. Sesame Workshop, Sesame Street, and associated characters, trademarks, and design elements are owned and licensed by Sesame Workshop. All rights reserved. FBI Anti-Piracy Warning: Unauthorized copying is punishable under federal law."
So apparently, Arts Music is the name of the label putting these out. I was kind of hoping that they would create a sub-sublabel actually called Sesame Street Records, under Arts Music, under Warner Music Group, but I guess that's not how they're doing it.
