TikTok is a short-form video sharing service that was originally founded in China in 2016.
Sesame Street launched its TikTok account on August 22, 2022, posting clips of reused segments as well as newly-shot videos. Notable among their new videos include The Martians discovering TikTok and several videos continuing the feud between Elmo and Rocco. A number of these videos have also been published on Sesame Street’s other social media accounts, including YouTube (through the site's Shorts format), Facebook and Instagram (as Reels on both sites).
