Tim Bendzko (b. 1985) is a German singer-songwriter who rose to fame when his 2011 song "Nur noch kurz die Welt retten" won the Bundesvision Song Contest.
In 2013, Bendzko appeared in an Ernie & Bert Songs segment doing a parody of his hit song as "Bert retten" with Ernie and Bert.
Bendzko has opened for Elton John and Joe Cocker for their international tours, and in 2023, appeared on the German version of The Masked Singer as Klaus Claus.
