In 2018, Jim Henson's 1965 short film Time Piece was scanned and restored in 4k resolution by MTI Film.

The restoration has been screened publicly at such venues as the Jim Henson Retrospectacle and the Museum of the Moving Image.

Fandor became the first platform to offer an HD version of the film for home exhibition in the Fall of 2018. After the company reorganized in late 2019, they no longer carried any content provided by the Henson Company. The library-based subscription service Kanopy began offering Time Piece in HD on October 19, 2021, however, the print shows significant differences to the version carried by Fandor in 2018.
