Titanic spoofed on Muppets TV
Titanic is a blockbuster, multiple Academy Award-winning 1997 film based on the 1912 sinking of the liner RMS Titanic. The film spent fifteen weeks at the number one spot on the box office, getting bumped by the release of Lost in Space.

- In the Farscape episode, "PK Tech Girl," John Crichton compares the ship Zelbinion to the Titanic, saying "Yeah, well, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio. Even the big ones go down."
- In The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland, Ernie tries to reassure Bert that movies never have unhappy endings. Bert counters by bringing up Gone with the Wind, Doctor Zhivago and Titanic.
- Also in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland, one of the Pesties hangs from a sign and says, "I'm the King of the World."
- During the credits of Elmo's Deep Sea Adventure, Oscar the Grouch lists various valuable items he's found under the ocean. One item he describes is the Heart of the Ocean diamond from the film. Although he claims it's too pretty, the credits end showing him wearing it as he declares, "I'm king of the world!"
- In the Bear in the Big Blue House episode "The Tutter Family Reunion," one of Tutter's relatives is seen riding a toy boat in the bathtub exclaiming, "I'm king of the world!"
- When Telly gets ready to help Big Bird build a boat kit in Episode 3831, he exclaims that he'll be "king of the world," an allusion to a famous scene from the film.
- Gonzo's victory phrase when winning a long cruise in Muppets Party Cruise is "I'm king of the world!"
- In a 2006 episode of Muppets TV, guest star Michaël Youn and Miss Piggy re-enact the "I'm king of the world!" scene from the movie.
- A Muppet postcard spoofing the film was available in Germany during the 1990s, reading "Animal takes a bow TOOMANIC," with Kermit the Frog as Amphibio De'Frogio and Miss Piggy as Fate Swing-set.
- Miss Piggy attempts to sing "My Heart Will Go On," the love song from Titanic, in Muppets Most Wanted.
- During the footage played during "Home" at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival and The Muppets Take the Bowl, Floyd Pepper and Janice re-enact Jack and Rose's famous pose on the bow of a ferry.
- After Baby Animal's airship launches into the sky in the Muppet Babies episode "Lone Eagle," he stands at the bow with his arms outstretched and shouts that he's the king of the world.
