"To Join the Circus" is a song from the Elmo the Musical segment, "Circus the Musical."
Elmo sings of his dream of joining the circus and performing acts that will make the crowd go wild. He sings the song again when he meets The Ringmaster, who later joins him (along with a chicken) for another reprise of the song for the finale.
