Tom Selleck (b. 1945) is an actor known for starring as Magnum, P.I.. His films included Three Men and a Baby (directed by Leonard Nimoy) and the sequel Three Men and a Little Lady (both with Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson), Quigley Down Under, Mr. Baseball, and In & Out (directed by Frank Oz). His television work has included recurring guest roles on Friends (as Monica's boyfriend Richard) and Boston Legal (as Ivan Tiggs).
In 1984, Selleck made a guest appearance in the first season Muppet Babies episode "What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?" Encountered by Baby Piggy and Baby Kermit at a Hollywood premiere, Selleck, superimposed against an animated background, expresses affection for Piggy and wants to have lunch. A shortened version of the same footage (just Selleck saying Piggy's name) appeared in the fifth season episode "Muppets Not Included."
