Tom and Jerry are a pair of goldfish, seen in Sesame Street Episode 2064. The goldfish can't sing or write letters, but they swim and eat. They belong to Aole, one of the kids.
Their names are a reference to the MGM cartoon characters Tom and Jerry created by Hanna-Barbera.
