Tomb Raider is a video game franchise that began in 1996. The series stars British archaeologist Lara Croft who goes on adventures around the world in search of lost artifacts.
It was adapted into a 2001 film starring Angelina Jolie. The 2003 sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life featured digital visual effects from Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
