Tower Bridge crosses the River Thames in London. Built between 1886 and 1894, it is located close to the Tower of London, from which it gets its name. As an iconic landmark, the bridge has featured in many movies and TV shows.
In The Great Muppet Caper, Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo cross the bridge in a double-decker bus. Fozzie assumes the River Thames is called the English River.
The bridge features in background scenes at the Tower of London in Muppets Most Wanted.
On March 26, 2014, Kermit the Frog was made Honorary Bridge Master of Tower Bridge. He was presented the ceremonial key by Councilman Adam Richardson and Alderman Matthew Richardson.[1]
