Notes[]
- The episode title comes from the Creedence Clearwater Revival song of the same name.
- In the first flashback sequence, Dr. Teeth meets Floyd Pepper in a music store called "The Original Jerry’s Tunes." The store's sign boasts "established 1934" (the year Jerry Nelson was born).
- In one of the flashbacks, Dr. Teeth refers to a set of dentures as "Eugene," another instance of Bill Barretta working in his brother's name into a production.
- Near the end of the episode, Nora is seen eating Cröonchy Stars.
- The cold open, with the Mayhem performing "It's Only Rock 'n Roll (But I Like It)," was originally intended to serve as the opening for the first episode.[1]
