Sir Trevor McDonald is a Trinidadian-British newsreader and journalist. He is notable for having been ITN's first black journalist, and for having won more awards than any other British broadcaster.
He appeared on Avenue of the Stars: 50 Years of ITV with Miss Piggy who presented him with an award. After some confusion about her own accolades, McDonald gave her a kiss.
