Truckee is a Dalmatian and the mascot of the Sesame Street Engine Co. She appears in the 1991 Sesame Street video Sesame Street Home Video Visits the Firehouse. During lulls between calls, the firefighters wash and scrub Truckee, leaving her too damp when duty calls. Big Bird offers to substitute as a "fire bird."

The dalmatian puppet has appeared as a stock dog puppet on Sesame Street. One notable speaking role was as a watch dog salesman in Sing, Hoot and Howl, performed here by Jim Martin.
