Tubthumping Vulture Festival May 2016
"Tubthumping" is a song by British band Chumbawamba released in 1997. The song was the band's most successful single, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart. It made its way into pop culture for being used on TV shows such as Smallville, Chuck, and How I Met Your Mother, and was played during NASA's morning wake-up call for the final flight of Space Shuttle Atlantis.
The Muppets lipsynched to the song at the 2016 Vulture Festival as part of a brief puppetry workshop with audience volunteers. Kermit the Frog led the group which consisted of Animal, Debbie, J. G. (performed by Tau Bennett), two Whatnots, and a dog (performed by Peter Linz).
