"Turkey in the Straw" is a traditional folk song, and has been performed by the Sesame Street characters multiple times.
It is sung by Polly Darton, Elmo, Big Bird, and the Kids on the Kids' Favorite Songs album, as a medley with "She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain."
The tune is also used to a set of lyrics known as "Do Your Ears Hang Low," which Elmo sings in the "Ears" episode of Elmo's World.
