The [[Holiday Kermit Action Figure]], an industry giveaway, was a slightly different, repainted version of Tuxedo Kermit.
This exclusive figure of [[Kermit]] in his black tuxedo was made by [[Palisades Toys]] in honour of [[The Muppet Show]]'s 25th anniversary. It was sold through Toy Fare Magazine and at Toys 'R Us.
 
   
 
Kermit was the first in a series of tuxedo-clad Muppets that were sometimes called Steppin' Out figures. Other such characters included [[Rowlf Action Figure|Rowlf]], [[Stepping Out Bunsen and Beaker Action Figures|Bunsen and Beaker]], [[Tuxedo Gonzo Action Figure|Gonzo]], [[Stepping Out Fozzie Action Figure|Fozzie]] and [[Uncle Deadly Action Figure|Uncle Deadly]].

The Tuxedo Kermit Action Figure was released by Palisades Toys as part of the The Muppet Show's 25th anniversary marketing campaign and sold exclusively through ToyFare Magazine and Toys R Us.

Kermit's top hat has a peg that fits in a small hole in his head. The television camera is a lighter version of the camera that was included with the standard Kermit Action Figure from Series 1.

The Holiday Kermit Action Figure, an industry giveaway, was a slightly different, repainted version of Tuxedo Kermit.
