This exclusive figure of Kermit in his black tuxedo was made by Palisades Toys in honour of The Muppet Show's 25th anniversary. It was sold through Toy Fare Magazine and in Toys 'R Us.
Kermit's top hat has a peg that fits in a small hole in Kermit's head. From series 2 onwards, hats were kept in place with magnets.
An industry giveaway Holiday Kermit Figure was a slightly different version of the Tuxedo Kermit.
Kermit would be the first in a line of tuxedo Muppets, among which were the Rowlf Action Figure, Stepping Out Bunsen and Beaker Action Figures, Tuxedo Gonzo Action Figure, Stepping Out Fozzie Action Figure and Stepping Out Uncle Deadly Action Figure.
