Robin the Frog and Sweetums both want to be in the show, but Kermit thinks that Robin is too small and Sweetums is too big. After helping out around the theater, Robin and Sweetums realize that they are good at fixing things, and they take on the motto, "No job too big or too small." Meanwhile, Kermit has trouble with the big finale, a performance of Jack and the Beanstalk starring that night's guest star, a bouncing armadillo named Andy.
This book was also released as a book and record set. It was reissued as a book and tape set by Golden in 1986, with a catalog number of 13978. The recording features the voices of Muppet Performers Richard Hunt (as Scooter and Sweetums), Jerry Nelson (as Robin and Floyd), Jim Henson (as Kermit), and Dave Goelz (as Beauregard).
