Rolling with the Skateboarding Dog
Tyson is a bulldog that has learned to roll on a skateboard. His owner, Jim Blauvelt, says that the dog was self-taught, starting in Huntington Beach, California in 2001.[1] Tyson became well-known when videos of his abilities were posted on YouTube. Since then, he's appeared on television, including The Oprah Winfrey Show.
The Muppets poked fun at Tyson's success with two viral videos in 2008, "Rolling with the Skateboarding Dog" and "The Skateboarding Dog Gets Served". In the Muppet videos, Fozzie Bear is admiring Tyson's action on the boardwalk, and Gonzo and Rizzo encourage Rowlf the Dog to make his own canine skateboarding video.
