Due to Muppets Tonight being broadcast in the United Kingdom over the BBC (which does not have commercials), every episode of the series lasted two minutes longer than the United States version (similar to The Muppet Show). These extra segments have been referred to as "UK spots," though they have also been seen in most other international airings, including Canada where the series was aired on The Family Channel.
Notes[]
- Episode 207 contains none of the regular UK Spot sketches. Instead, a subplot involving Artie and Marty Pipkin is used to fill up the time in the international airings.
- In addition to adding material not present in the American version of the episodes, the international airings of the season two episodes often re-arrange the material in a different order.
