Uncle McDermott is Kermit's uncle in the Muppet Kids book Help! We're Lost!. He is the brother of Kermit's Mom and lives in Greenville Junction. Although Kermit has visited him many times, a train trip with Fozzie gets the kids lost. Uncle McDermott drives his suitably green car to the train station to retrieve them.
