Univision is an American Spanish-language television network that is owned by Univision Communications. The station is headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, New York City and has its major studios, production facilities, and business operations based in Doral, Florida (near Miami). It has aired Plaza Sésamo since 1995. In 2015, Univision partnered with Sesame Workshop and aired Plaza Sésamo's spinoff, Sesame Amigos. The Spanish dub of Growing Hope Against Hunger debuted on the channel in 2011.

The Muppets have made many appearances on the channel's original interview show, Despierta América (Wake Up America).
