Hi, you added a bunch of empty categories to international show pages. We generally divide by series, not country (the exception, which is possibly what you were going for, is Category:International TV Shows (Germany). The main problem, apart from a significant shift like this usually being worth discussion first, is that you just added the categories. The categories don't exist, which means either someone else has to create them and figure out how to organize them, or remove them from all pages. If you actually plan to create those categories, please reply here. Otherwise, we'll remove them from now (and if you want to more clearly explain what you have in mind, feel free to start a forum thread). Thanks! -- Andrew 00:47, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Hey there! I understand the issue and I apologize. I felt it'd be worth adding since so far there's only Germany and I feel like there are a bunch of countries/territories with shows profiled here. I'll work on creating the categories if you think it's worth doing, otherwise feel free to delete them.
- Hi, a couple reminders. First, just going back to talk pages, remember to sign your comments with four tildes, generally preceded by two dashes, like this:<nowiki>-- 20:29, 19 February 2021 (UTC)</nowiki/>. I have to remember myself.
- Germany exists for multiple dub/co-production categories (see here for example) because one of our admins is in Germany and did the necessary research, structuring, and organization. Empty categories should never be added (it's more confusing now that categories no longer show up in red, but basically if you haven't started it yet, don't). I'm going to go ahead and revert for now (and it would help us out if you'd do so for some of them yourself, if we miss any). Feel free to bring up on the forums, since for organizational reasons, it's better to figure it out first (apart from how the categories should look and go, if we do them, why Netherlands and not Italy, for example?) A single well-organized exception looks a whole lot less awkward than more random expansion. Thanks! -- Andrew 20:29, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
International SS inserts
I was going to ask what your source was for the latest addition to Season 19 segments, but I didn't know that the "Rollback" feature wouldn't let me. You've been really good at citing when these bits appear in co-productions, so I thought I'd ask. -- Tony (talk) 22:42, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
- Hey! That segment appeared on an episode of Ulitsa Sezam
