- Essentially, it's explained in the Street Gang movie. There was a small bit of audio in it of Jon Stone talking about how he was anticipating making a Behind-The-Scenes at Sesame type special, which is presumably what everything was filmed for- not just the cast and crew working, but various interviews with Ernie and Bert (as well as Oscar) reading fan mail, which ended up all being used for the Street Gang movie. The interviews there as well as the 50 Years special looked to be in the same location. Do you think the inference would qualify for the info to be included, though? - I just saw the film, so I'll chime in. The part with Jon Stone wanting to make a BTS special sounded like it was something he attempted in the past and remarks how the current interview could be it instead. That said, it does look like the E&B interview was done as a part of the same project; the film quality matches and the puppets are the ones they were using around that time. - Shane (talk) 02:28, 2 May 2021 (UTC)

Question about Hip Hip Parade!
It has come to my attention that the 1978 special "Hip Hip Parade!" has recently been discovered. Seeing as there are no links to it online, my guess is that you have managed to come across a copy. If so, I do have a question about the footage - not of the Muppets, but of the parade itself. To elaborate, I'm a moderator of the MTDP wiki, which is currently on a mission to restore as much footage of the parade as possible. If, and only if it's allowed, is it possible that some of the footage of the behind-the-scenes can be shared to us? I completely understand if you can't/won't, I just figured I'd check just in case. -John 16:52, 8 July 2021 (EST)
- Thank you for the assistance! I realize that my failure to specify may have given the wrong message, and for that, I apologize. I should have specified that I was searching simply for images from the special, and am not after any video content whatsoever. Again, I am completely alright if nothing can be shared. —John 16:40, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
