- In 1993, Clifford appeared as a guest VJ on the network. Clifford introduced videos and interviewed Meshell Ndegeocello.
- Several shows on VH1 have included appearances by and references to the Muppets, including The Greatest TV Moments: Sesame Street Music A-Z and I Love the 70s. Animal's "Wipe Out" music video was played on the network as well.
