Veronica Martin is a hard-nosed, stressed-out network executive for CDE who appears in the 2011 film The Muppets. Her full name is listed in the behind-the-scenes featurette on the Blu-ray.
Veronica gets called on by the Muppets, Gary, Mary and Walter to air the telethon to save Muppet Studios. She liked the Muppets ever since she was a little girl, but since she finds their sensibilities at odds with modern society's cynicism, she only agrees to air the telethon out of desperation to fill an otherwise blank two-hour timeslot.
