A group of viral macrooganisms appear in the Aliens in the Family episode "Bobut Conquers All." After Spit catches Doug's flu, he starts coughing up his germs, called viral macrooganisms. He nicknames one "Mr. Germie."
Adam negotiates with the germs to make him sick so he can get out of gym class. He offers them bread, but they refuse, telling him to remove all soap from the house and then they'll consider it. They later shut him down again since his body is "laced with Flintstone Vitamins."
At the end of the episode, they chase after Sally's boyfriend Christopher, yelling, "Fresh meat!" The germs reappeared in "A Very Brody Tweeznax," including the end scene where two sing a traditional Tweeznax carol with the Brody family.
The macroorganisms are performed by John Kennedy, Peter Linz, and Alice Dinnean.
