Vittorio Di Prima (1941-2016) was an Italian voice actor who dubbed Sam the Eagle on Il Muppet Show (The Muppet Show). He later dubbed Animal in I Muppet (The Muppets) and Muppets 2 - Ricercati (Muppets Most Wanted).
Di Prima dubbed Morgan Freeman several times (including Gone Baby Gone and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves), and also lent his voice to Leonard Nimoy in three Star Trek movies, Carl Weathers in two Rocky sequels, Marlon Brando in The Score, Mel Brooks in High Anxiety, Michael Gambon in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and Jerry Stiller in Zoolander.
TV dubbing included Michael Landon on Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven, Jack Klugman on The Odd Couple, and Klaus Dittmann on Heidi. In animation, he dubbed Henry J. Waternoose in Monsters Inc., General Ross on The Incredible Hulk, and Genma Saotome on Ranma 1/2. On-camera, Di Prima played an inspector on La Piovra 7, one of a series of occasional crime serials.
