Wally Kane (ca. 1933-2021) is a saxophone player who was part of the original house band organized by Joe Raposo for Sesame Street. In addition to the sax, he also played other reed instruments in the band.

He has been heard on the show and in numerous records over the years, and has often performed saxophone for Hoots the Owl, such as in "Put Down the Duckie."[1] He was seen on screen at least once with the rest of the house band in Episode 1051. Kane was still part of the band as late as 2007.

Kane also performed tenor sax on longtime Street colleague Jerry Nelson's album Truro Daydreams (2009).
