Warner Bros. Records is a record company that was founded by Jack Warner in 1958 as a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Pictures. It has released several Sesame Street and Muppet singles and albums, mostly during the 1980s. One of the labels that comprises Warner Music/WEA, it was sold by former parent Time Warner to a consortium of private investors led by Edgar Bronfman Jr. in 2004.
