"We Belong Together" is the closing number to Act II of the 1932 musical, Music in the Air.
In a season one episode of Sesame Street, a pair of Anything Muppet parents try singing the song, but are interrupted by their daughter, who'd rather sing the Beatles' "All Together Now."
