"We Three Kings" is a well-known Christmas song originally written by John Henry Hopkins Jr. for a Christmas pageant in 1857.
The song was used in the final segment of John Denver & the Muppets: A Christmas Together, as John Denver recites the Nativity story. As the Three Wise Men make their way to the newborn Jesus Christ, an unseen chorus sings a verse of the song and continues humming the melody as Denver continues to narrate.
