The song is set in a park area, as David sings about avoiding wet paint. Gordon and Maria don't listen, getting wet paint on themselves as they sit on a bench and lean on a lamppost (respectively). As David brings the song to a close, he removes a "WET PAINT" sign from a fence, causing a fence post to topple, knocking a can of paint on his head.
The album version credits the singer as "Calypso Calloway," who claims the song is from his native Jamaica, Long Island.
