Where's Poppa? is a 1970 film comedy directed by Carl Reiner. The plot concerns a young man (George Segal) who falls in love, but finds his life problematized by his invalid mother. Hallucinations, courtroom attacks on the Vietnamese, and gorilla impersonation are also involved.
In one scene, Mrs. Hocheiser (Ruth Gordon) is watching Sesame Street on television. No visuals are shown, but the song "Everybody Wash" and the surrounding dialogue between Ernie and Bert are heard in their entirety. The audio is taken from The Sesame Street Book & Record rather than the show.
