"Whip It" is performed by a group of singers on three occasions in episode 202 of Muppets Tonight.
It's first proposed by Seymour and Pepe as their new act: the song is performed while Seymour tries to whip a cigar out of Pepe's mouth. As part of a long history of a line as a music cue on the show, whenever a character says "whip it", the dancers pop up singing the song again.
The song is spoofed as "Fix It" in the Sesame Street Live show, Out of This World.
