Whispering Sam's Hot Dogs is a hot dog cart owned by Whispering Sam, who whispers everything he says. The cart sprouts flags, neon lights and loud marching music at the push of a button. Gordon and Telly visited the stand in Episode 2950.
The cart, minus all the bells and whistles, also appeared in Sesame Street Jam: A Musical Celebration and its home video version, where it was the site of an a capella sing-along by Angela, Jamal, Kayla, Celina, Carlo, Herry, Roxie Marie, Kingston Livingston III, Grover, Merry, Rocky, and several kids.
In Episode 3427, Big Bird, Gabi, Miles, and Lexine encountered the cart when they got lost in the park while following a butterfly. At this time, it was operated by a concessions lady (Maria Nevda), from whom Big Bird obtained a pretzel.
