Who Took the Cookie? is a 2002 Sesame Street board book featuring Cookie Monster.
The story begins with Cookie Monster wearing a baker's hat and eating a cookie next to a jar of cookies with a sign that reads, "5 Cookie Monster Cookies, Please do not eat!" Each page shows one less cookie with the number crossed out and rewritten with the next lowest number, while everyone accuses each other of taking the last cookie.
The text is a play on the children's sing-along game, "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?"
The book's cover features a lenticular image that makes the cookie disappear as Cookie Monster eats it.
