A Wordwatcher appears in Episode 3355 of Sesame Street.
She is the president of the Wordabaun Word-Watching Society, a club for people who love to watch words. She visits Sesame Street, having heard through the "word vine" that the rare Green-Spotted-Hopping TOY was spotted in the area and she hopes to get its photo. She and Big Bird scour the street looking for the word and eventually find it, but it won't hold still for a photo.
With some help from Ruthie, they communicate with the word and are allowed to take its photo. The wordwatcher continues her journeys, now off to find the Yellow, Loves To Giggle LOVE, which turns up right as she leaves.
