Xavier Fauche is a French writer known for his work in comic books. He wrote for the French co-production of Fraggle Rock, scripting new material.
Fauche is best known for his work on the Lucky Luke comic series, usually teamed with fellow Fraggle Rock writer Jean Léturgie. The team worked on the spinoff comics starring the dimwitted guard dog Rantanplan (Rin Tin Can in English), while with another co-author, wrote for Marsupilami.
For animation, Fauche scripted the 1990 series Tifou and episodes of the 1991 animated Lucky Luke TV series. Apart from comics and cartoons, Fauche directed and/or produced a number of 1970s French radio interview series. He co-authored several novels.
