"Yellow Submarine", the popular Beatles song which became #2 hit in 1966, was used on several early season episodes of Sesame Street.
In the Sesame Street version, Bob dresses three Anything Muppets (Pumpkin, Fat Blue, and Purple) who scoot off to their submarine, where they party with other Muppets (including Beautiful Day Monster, a bearded hippie, and Cookie Monster). The song taught the color yellow and how to get along with others.
