"You Are the Sunshine of My Life" is a 1973 single released by Stevie Wonder. The song became Wonder's third #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won Wonder a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and was nominated for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
In The Muppets episode "The Ex-Factor" it is revealed that "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" was Kermit and Miss Piggy's song when they were dating. The song is referenced again with a performance by Jack White in the season finale, "Because... Love."
The performance by Jack White with the Electric Mayhem was subsequently released as a single.
Bob sang the song on the album Bob Sings!.
