Young MacDonald is the daughter of Old MacDonald, the one from the famous song. She appeared in Episode 2913 of Sesame Street.
Her father is best associated with his farm animals, but Young MacDonald has the prospects of teaching her animals various tricks so they can perform in their own circus. She enthusiastically sings a variation of her father's song throughout the episode, pointing out the animal's tricks. Though they are adept at jumping (not to mention crashing or running over Telly several times), MacDonald is mildly successful in getting her livestock to rhyme, jump through hoops, and climb onto each others' backs. The animals prefer it this way, and would rather do what animals like them would normally do. Young MacDonald decides to give up the idea of a circus in favor of a more suitable platform for these creatures: Hollywood!
