Yuba heard howling through The Count's broken window in Episode 0632.
Yuba is Count von Count's pet canine, first mentioned in 1973. He is sometimes described as a dog, but his howl — the only sign of his presence, since he is never seen — is more indicative of a wolf; a characteristic on-theme for The Count's Transylvanian culture.
Yuba makes his audible debut at the beginning of a sketch in which his master lets him out of the castle to run and play with his little friends. Later in the sketch, when The Count accidentally steps on Fatatita in the dark, he tells his cat she should be outside playing with Yuba.
When The Count gets the chickenpox in Episode 0632, Yuba can be heard howling outside his bedroom window, "Quiet, Yuba! I'm trying to count!" Later, in Episode 0724, it's Yuba who becomes unwell and refuses to eat his dinner (stated to be a dog, and established here as male for the first time). When The Count recites the alphabet in Episode 0944, he uses Yuba to represent the letter U. He is also heard in a 1984 Talk 'n Play set, here referred to as Luba.
