Captain Zauber and his "number one" Hopwood are a pair of green, fish-like alien beings from the Piscean Galaxy who appear in The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode "Norval the Great."
After Norval the Fish and Binky are launched into the sky by a jungle volcano, they find themselves abducted aboard the Piscean space ship. The two officers intend to shed their skins, until Norval defends them. The Pisceans are astonished to learn this Norval is the same adventurous fish they've heard from the Wickershams they've previously abducted and find it an honor to be traveling with such an accomplished individual. They all celebrate dancing around the ship reprising "It's a Jungle Out There." They eventually return the Earthlings back home using a time warp, bringing them back only mere moments after they originally left.
Zauber speaks in an exaggerated William Shatner-like voice, referencing his portrayal of Captain Kirk on Star Trek. The puppet for Zauber was used a few episodes later for Fiona Phish.
