Zelda Rose is a tall, pink Muppet woman with a long orange nose. She is best known for singing "Who?" with her singing owl in Episode 203 and The Muppet Show 2 (LP), where she got her name.

In The Muppet Show Episode 124, she conducts the song, "The Blue Danube" in a library.

Zelda Rose made her debut in The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence. The puppet was previously used as a violinist on the Ed Sullivan Show (without a wig). In episode 115, the puppet was made to look like a farmer, performed by Jim Henson. A prototype version of Zelda Rose was used for the Flower-Eating Monster bit on The Julie Andrews Hour.

Zelda was often performed by Louise Gold, and occasionally by Jerry Nelson. Abby Hadfield performed her when she sang "Who?" in Episode 203, but Louise Gold rerecorded her part when the song was released on The Muppet Show 2 (LP). Zelda was often seen in the audience, and in At The Dance with various partners.

Later, in Muppets Tonight Episode 208, it is revealed that Zelda is Dr. Phil van Neuter's mother.
