Zippity Zap was an "ultra-hip" Muppets Tonight crew member who seemed too cool for school. His mother made an appearance in episode 212 of the show.
Since Muppets Tonight, Zippity has appeared in the background in Muppets from Space, It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie and The Muppets' Wizard of Oz.
