Zowie-Zown the Upside-Down Clown is a circus performer seen in the "Elmo the Musical" segment, "Circus the Musical."
The headliner act of the show, his main skill is standing upside-down on his head. However, just as he begins his performance, he receives a call from the law school, confirming his acceptance. He immediately ditches the show, leaving the Ringmaster without his main star. Elmo tries to do his act, but finds he can't and gives up on his dream of being in the circus. A chicken who previously replaced Elmo in the other acts convinces him to "Keep on Clucking" and Elmo is eventually able to do Zowie-Zown's act.
